vivo is gearing up to unveil the V25 series in India in a few hours, but it's also got other models in the pipeline too, which should be launching in the near future. And today the main specs for two of those have been outed through a leaked promo poster.
We're talking about the vivo Y22s and the
vivo Y16. The former is revealed to have a 90 Hz touchscreen, the Snapdragon
680 SoC at the helm, 8GB of RAM (plus 8GB of Virtual RAM), and a 5,000 mAh
battery with 18W charging support. The phone is going to be IP54 certified for
dust and water ingress protection, and it will have a 50 MP main rear camera, a
2 MP decorative sensor, and an 8 MP selfie shooter.
The vivo Y16, on the other hand, drops to
a 13 MP main camera (plus an additional 2 MP sensor), 4GB of RAM (plus 1GB of
Virtual RAM), and 10W charging, although the battery capacity stays the same at
5,000 mAh. The Y16 will be available in black and gold, while the Y22s will be
offered in green and blue. According to previous revelations, the Y16 will be
powered by the MediaTek Helio P35 chipset. It should also sport a fingerprint
sensor and 64GB of storage.
By the looks of things, Vietnam will be
one of the launch markets for these handsets, or at least in the first wave,
given that the leaked poster is in Vietnamese.
