A new Android tablet has been added to the range of offerings provided by Teclast. The Teclast P30 Air is powered by the MediaTek Helio P22 8-core chipset and will run on Android 12. The Teclast P30 Air has a 10.1-inch display and a RAM/ storage configuration of 4GB/64GB.
The P30 Air is a pretty affordable tablet
with a decent 1,920 x 1,200 pixels display with a 60Hz refresh rate and a 120Hz
touch sampling rate. It offers up to 300 nits of brightness and the display is
protected by a 7.8mm chassis made from durable metal materials. The tablet is
powered by the mid-range MediaTek Helio P22 MT6762 chip paired with 64GB of
internal storage that is expandable via microSD. The P30 Air supports 4G
network connectivity and has a dual-SIM module.
The tablet has an 8MP rear camera and a
5MP front camera. It features GPS connectivity and it is unclear whether the
device will be upgradable to higher Android versions subsequently. The Teclast P30 Air will be available via AliExpress
for US$ 119.99 but the final cost may vary after taxes and import duties are
added. The new budget Teclast tablet will go on sale later this month. There is
currently a raft of affordable Android tablets with decent features in the
market. The new Teclast tablet, however, comes pretty cheap. Its extended
features and durability could possibly endear the P30 Air to the market.
