Motorola was gearing up to announce its long-awaited Razr 2022 foldable and X30 Pro phones on Tuesday - August 2 until it canceled the event just hours before tipoff. The speculated reason was rising tensions between China and Taiwan over US House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s visit.
Earlier today, Lenovo Mobile China GM Chen
Jin posted a new teaser for the Moto Razr 2022 which has the August 11 date on
the cover screen and the time set to 2MP - the likely new launch date and time
for the Razr 2022.
Motorola is also expected to launch the
Moto X30 Pro at the same event and speculations suggest that both devices will
go on open sales right after the event concludes. The reservations for both the
Razr 2022 and X30 Pro are already live on online retailer JD.com’s website so
it’s safe to assume they will be available for purchase on August 11.
