Lenovo officially launched the release of two new mobile workstations to its expanded product offering of AMD-powered workstations today at SIGGRAPH 2022 in Vancouver, Canada, continuing the company’s collaborative efforts to develop innovative systems. Earlier, Lenovo Legion laptops were launched in India.
The new ThinkPad P15v and P14s offer more
possibilities for developing workflows. The ThinkPad P15v fills the price and
performance gap between entry-level and high-end workstations with powerful
mobile AMD Ryzen PRO 6000 H-series CPUs, professional graphics from NVIDIA, and
a 15.6-inch UHD display.
Lenovo’s most mobile workstation, the
ThinkPad P14s, features AMD Ryzen PRO 6000 U-series processors and
next-generation Radeon PRO integrated graphics. The 14-inch ThinkPad P14s lets
customers be creative anytime, anywhere. The ThinkPad P16s, released earlier
this year, offers 16-inch screen real estate without sacrificing mobility.
These transportable workstations have passed MIL-SPEC1 tests.
Lenovo will also present the ThinkStation
P620, which was launched in 2020 and is the only Ryzen Threadripper PRO-powered
desktop workstation available today. The ThinkStation P620 is meant to be the
most adaptable workstation on the market, reducing bottlenecks to scale
performance and user productivity while running multi-threaded programs. It can
support up to two NVIDIA RTX A6000 or four RTX A4000 graphics cards, has six
PCIe Gen 4 expansion slots, and a 33L chassis for better airflow and heat
management.
