The iQOO Z6 series currently includes three smartphones in India - Z6, Z6 44W, and Z6 Pro. A new media report claims these will be joined by a Lite model in the second week of next month in the Asian country. The source claims that the iQOO Z6 Lite will be a 4G smartphone and will be a version of the vivo T1x, which is powered by the Snapdragon 680 SoC. Note that we are referring to the dual camera model available in India since there's also a T1x with triple rear cameras. And then there's the Chinese T1x, powered by the Dimensity 900 chip. It comes with a 64MP camera and supports 5G networks. You can head this way to check the detailed specs of all T1x variants.
If the iQOO Z6 Lite is a rebranded Indian
T1x, you can expect it to come with a 6.58" FullHD+ 90Hz LCD, Funtouch OS
12, and a 5,000 mAh battery with 18W charging. The smartphone will have an 8MP
selfie shooter on the front and a 50MP primary camera on the rear, joined by a
2MP depth unit. You'll also get a side-mounted fingerprint reader for biometric
authentication.
The vivo T1x in India is offered in
Gravity Black and Space Blue colors and has three memory configurations -
4GB/64GB, 4GB/128GB, and 6GB/128GB, currently priced at INR 11,999 (US$ 151/€ 149),
INR 12,999 (US$ 164/€ 162), and INR 14,999 (US$ 189/€ 187), respectively. However, the
source claims that the iQOO Z6 Lite could be priced INR500 to INR 700 lesser than
the T1x.
That said, the Z6 Lite is not the only Z
series smartphone expected from iQOO since we have also heard about the Z6x and
a version of Z6 with 80W charging. Right now, the fastest charging smartphone
in the Z6 series is the iQOO Z6 Pro, which supports 66W charging
