Vivo recently launched the Y77 5G smartphone in the Indian market. Now, it is reported that the company is gearing up to launch another Y-series smartphone, dubbed Vivo Y15D. The smartphone has recently been spotted on the IMEI database with V2161. It will be an affordable smartphone as it is said to have specifications similar to the recently launched- Vivo Y15c.
As reported by Rootmygalaxy, the Chinese
smartphone maker Vivo is going to launch a budget smartphone, dubbed Vivo Y15D,
in its home country. The publication has spotted the smartphone on the IMEI
database with the model number V2161 and moniker “Vivo Y15D”. As usual, the IMEI
database did not reveal any details of the smartphone. However, the publication
claims that the handset will be a rebranded Vivo 15c which was launched
recently in India.
To recall, Vivo Y15c was launched in India
featuring a 6.51-inch IPS display with HD+ resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio.
The smartphone came in Mystic Blue and Wave Green color options. If the Vivo
Y15D is indeed a rebranded Vivo Y15c, we can expect it to be powered by the
MediaTek Helio P35 SoC clubbed with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. On the software
front, the handset may run Funtouch OS 11.1 based on Android 11 Go Edition.
Vivo Y15c came with a dual rear camera
setup featuring a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel super macro
lens. The Vivo Y15D will likely have the same camera specs. In related news,
Vivo Y35 is also expected to launch soon as the smartphone has bagged
certifications from multiple sites. It is expected to be powered by the
Snapdragon 680 Soc paired with up to 4GB RAM.
