Xiaomi unveiled the Redmi Buds 4 and 4 Pro in May, launching them only in China. We knew it was just a matter of time before the TWS headsets became available elsewhere too and judging by the listing on Amazon UK, Europe is the next stop.
The vanilla Redmi Buds 4 are listed in
Light Blue and Whit eat a price of £ 50. Or “were listed” as the page was taken
down – apparently, they are not quite ready for launch yet. As for the Redmi
Buds 4 Pro, they are coming in Black and White at a price of £ 90.
Both headsets have Active Noise
Cancellation (ANC), although the Pros reduce noise by 43dB, while the vanilla
buds only manage 35dB. The Pros also have a dual-driver design with a 10mm
driver and a 6mm tweeter, plus a low latency mode (59ms).
There’s no indication of when the Redmi
Buds 4 and 4 Pro will go on sale. For comparison with the previous generation,
the Redmi Buds 3 Pro are priced £ 50 while the vanilla model is £ 38. They are
not as capable as the 4-series, of course.
