POCO Philippines today revealed that the C40 budget Android smartphone is now official in the country. As a quick recap, the C40 features the largest display on a POCO device yet at 6.71-inch. This display is protected by Gorilla Glass, has an HD+ resolution of 1650 x 720, and a notch for the 5MP f/2.2 selfie camera.
Inside, it is using a not that common
processor. In particular, it is loaded with the 2.0GHz 11nm JR510 octa-core
processor from JLQ Technology which is a semiconductor maker based in Shanghai.
This chip is said to be as good as the Helio G35 from MTK. The device also has
4GB RAM, 64GB expandable storage, and a 6,000mAh battery capacity with USB-C
18W charging. The in-box charger is just 10W though. For cameras, it has a 13MP
f/2.2 PDAF + 2MP f/2.4 depth + LED flash at the back. The device also has a
rear-facing fingerprint reader hidden at the back.
