The upcoming Motorola Razr 3 is rumored to have two bigger screens and now we have official confirmation. Last week Chen Jin, the GM of Lenovo Mobile China, showed off the new design on stage, focusing on the internal display. Now the GM has posted a short video showing off the cover display. The video shows an Easter egg – “You can play like this on the outside screen,” writes Chen Jin. It’s a simple dice game, but even that can’t fit on the Galaxy Z Flip3 cover display, for example.
Brightening up the image a bit reveals two
cameras next to the display, plus an LED flash. Unconfirmed reports suggest
that those will be a 50MP main and 13MP ultra wide. The cover display will
measure 3” (up from 2.7”), the inner display will be 6.7” – up from 6.2”,
thanks to the removal of the iconic “chin”. This FHD+ display will have a 120Hz
refresh rate and will be folded and unfolded by a new hinge mechanism.
Motorola already confirmed that the phone
will be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. It didn’t officially
mention the memory configurations, but rumors suggest 6/8/12GB of RAM and
128/256/512GB storage. One last bit of potential good news – there is a rumor
going around that the Motorola Razr 3 will be cheaper, € 1,150, down from the
€ 1,300 price tag of the Razr 5G.
