The iQOO 10 is similar to the Pro, but costs less, so some cutbacks to the battery and camera had to be made. This is still a very capable phone, however. Battery capacity is the same at 4,700mAh, but wired charging speed has been dropped to 120W. In practical terms this means you can hit 50% state of charge in 7 minutes and get a full charge in 19 minutes. USB PD with PPS is supported up to 65W, wireless charging is not available, though.
The other change is to the camera. The
main module still uses the 50MP GN5 sensor, but it now has a regular OIS. Also,
the ultra wide camera is dropped to 120° FoV and 13MP resolution. This model
does have a telephoto camera as well, though with only 2x magnification and
12MP resolution (IMX663). The selfie camera is a 16MP unit again.
The phone is still powered by the
Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and it still features the V1+ chip for game and image
enhancement. The memory configuration options are basically the same 8/12GB of
LPDDR5 RAM and 128/256/512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The display is the same size
at 6.78”, though this is a flat E5 AMOLED panel with a lower resolution of
1,080 x 2,400px. This is not an LTPO panel, however. The fingerprint reader
here is a capacitive one and it supports two fingers at the same time. This
model also has stereo speakers and an X-axis motor.
The iQOO 10 is also coming to the vivo
shop on July 26, for now you can register with a CNY 100 deposit (and get the
same 6 month warranty extension and iQOO backpack). The base 8/128GB unit is priced
at CNY 3,700 (US$ 550/€ 535/₹ 44,000). There is also an 8/256GB option for CNY
4,000, 12/256GB for CNY 4,300 and 12/512GB for CNY 4,700.
