Honor’s latest midrange phone was announced in China earlier today - the Honor X40i. The phone is equipped with a 6.7-inch LTPS LCD with FHD+ resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate and MediaTek’s Dimensity 700 chipset. It sports an elegant design that’s just 7,43mm at its thickest point and weighs 175 grams.
The back houses a 50MP main cam and a 2MP
depth sensor with the two modules intersecting and forming a figure eight. The
software side is covered by Honor’s Magic UI 6.1 based on Android 12. The phone
is powered by a 4,000 mAh battery with 40W charging.
Honor X40i comes in rose pink, silver,
green and black colors and starts at CNY 1,599 (US$ 238) for the base 8/128GB trim
and goes up to CNY 1,999 (US$ 297) for the 12/256GB model. Open sales in China
start on July 22.
