The Russian tech and electronics brand BQ released a new smartphone recently, the BQ 6868L Wide. There are some noteworthy features this phone comes with. Among them, we can mention the large frameless screen, large battery, large memory, and original design. Moreover, this is one of the most affordable models currently on the Russian market in the price segment up to 8000 rubles (US$ 140).
The BQ 6868L Wide sports a 6.8-inch
frameless IPS screen with an aspect ratio of 20:9. In a small hole in the
center at the top of the display, there is an 8 MP camera for selfies and video
calls. The back cover of the device has a special texture with overflows. There
are four colors to choose from: black, blue, red, and graphite.
Under the hood, we have a Unisoc Tiger
T310 chip. The chip is manufactured using 12-nanometer technology and saves 20%
of energy compared to octa-core processors for the mainstream segment. The chip
is paired with different memory and storage sizes. For instance, customers can
choose from 3Gb + 32GB or 4GB + 64GB storage combinations. However, the memory
is expandable to up to 128GB via the microSD card slot. The battery capacity is
4000mAh, which is capable of providing long life.
In terms of photography, there is a
13-megapixel main camera with various shooting modes. Other features of the new
smartphone include an unlock function using a fingerprint scanner as well as
support for LTE.
The BQ 6868L Wide smartphone is available
for purchase through the company’s online store. The 3/32 GB modification is available
for 7990 rubles (US$ 140), while the 4/64 GB variant costs 8490 rubles (US$ 149).
