Popular PC gaming hardware maker recently partnered with Esports brand EVANGELION e: PROJECT. Under the partnership, gamers and EVANGELION fans now have a chance to build the Evangelion Unit-01 (also known as Eva-01 TestType) themed PC.
As expected, the design of the devices is
inspired by the original "EVA-01 TEST TYPE" with purple and green
colorways. There is a total of four products with EVA theme—a motherboard, AIO
liquid cooler, power supply, and a PC case.First is the MAG B660 TOMAHAWK EVA
e-PROJECT. It has an Extended Heatsink that shows off the "NERV"
logo. It even has the EVA lighting effect with the help of MSI's Mystic Light.
It comes with a 2.5G Network Solution,
WiFi 6E, Memory Boost, Lightning Gen 4 Solution, Core Boost Technology, 6-layer
PCB with 2x Thickened Copper, Digital PWM, PCIe Steel Armor, Extended Heatsink,
M2. Shield Frozr, Pump Fan Support, and Heatsinks with 7W/mK Thermal Pad.Next
is the All-In-One (AIO) Liquid Cooler: MAG CORELIQUID C240 EVA e-PROJECT. This cooler's
water block combines the ARGB lighting and purple highlights bringing out the
image of EVA-01 TEST TYPE. This also has the NERV logo. Then, MSI also has the
Power Supply: MAG A650BN EVA e-PROJECT.
According to the company, this PSU (Power
Supply Unit) is ready to power your gaming PC. It also incorporates the
familiar colors of the EVA-01 TEST TYPE into the outer cover and fan grille of
the power supply. Last is the PC Case: MPG GUNGNIR 110R EVA e-PROJECT.
This is a limited edition PC case
reminiscent of the EVA-01 TEST TYPE. It also highlights a tempered glass side
panel featuring the familiar font of EVANGELION apart from its purple and green
color scheme.
