Meizu has been missing in action on the smartphone scene for a while now but the company’s new PANDAER brand has been churning out pretty interesting and awesome gadgets in recent times. Recently, Meizu teased the impending launch of a gaming console developed in partnership with Chinese gaming console manufacturer AYANEO. The product is the PANDAER x AYANEO Windows handheld games console.
The PANDAER x AYANEO handheld games
console is basically an AYANEO AIR Pro console that has seen some cool
customizations. The rear panel of the console has some artwork and the PANDAER
branding.
In terms of the specs, the PANDAER x
AYANEO handheld console sports a 5.5-inch OLED display with an FHD resolution
of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. The device has a dimension of 224 x 89.5 x 28 mm and
weighs 410g. The gadget is powered by an AMD Ryzen 5 5560U processor made up of
Zen 3 CPUs and a Radeon RX Vega 6 GPU with 6 Compute Units clocked at 1,600
MHz. The processor is paired with 16 GB of LPDDR4x RAM running at 4,266 MHz.
The games console comes with a 512 GB SSD.
Under the hood, the PANDAER x AYANEO games
console crams a 7,350mAh battery. It also comes with Bluetooth 5.2 and Wi-Fi 6
connectivity. It runs on Windows operating system. The PANDAER x AYANEO games console is
presently available in China via Meizu’s website. The gadget is priced at 3,999
yuan (~$592). We are not so sure Meizu or AYANEO will release the PANDAER x
AYANEO Windows games PC in the global market.
