Leica has recently revealed a new limited edition camera called the M-A "Titan". This camera is paired with a Summicron-M 50mm f/2 ASPH lens and is limited to just 250 pieces worldwide. Leica M-A "Titan" is an all-mechanical film camera with a sturdy titanium finish but lighter than mass.
Since it is mechanical, the 35mm film
camera doesn't rely on batteries or data connections. The company said that it
is the epitome of its philosophy "a
return to photography in its purest form". The design even has the classic
"Ernst Leitz Wetzlar" script on the top plate.
As mentioned, the lens paired is the
Summicron-M 50mm f/2 ASPH lens with an
appearance modeled from the very first 50mm Summicron-M lens introduced in
1956.
Leica M-A "Titan" Set priced at
USD 19,995 It is now available for pre-order at Leica
Stores and Leica Online Store.
