Asus announced the official arrival in Brazil of the Zenbook Pro Duo 15 OLED. It’s the third generation of the company’s lineup of notebooks with two large screens. The company also introduced the Zenbook 14X OLED Space Edition. As the name suggests, this is a special edition that not only has powerful specifications and a small screen. It also has an outer cover with some intriguing functions. Furthermore, it comes with what Asus promises to be a level of resistance appropriate for space travel.
According to the listing, the ASUS ZenBook
Pro Duo 15 comes with an OLED touchscreen of 15.6-inches. The panel is
available in Full HD or 4K resolutions and offers a 16:9 aspect ratio, 0.2 ms
of response rate, and peak brightness of 550 nits. The panel also has 100%
DCI-P3 coverage and Pantone certification. The secondary panel is an IPS LCD
Touch screen with 14-inch available in Full HD and 4K resolution.
The device comes with 1 x HDMI 2.1 port, 1
x USB 3.2 Type A, 2 x Thunderbolt 4, and 1 x 3.5 microphone / headphone jack.
In terms of connectivity, the device brings Wi-Fi 6 Dual-Band 2×2, and
Bluetooth 5.0. This ambitious laptop comes with 12th Gen Intel Core i7 or i9
processors. It’s paired with either 16 GB or 32 GB of LPDDR5 RAM. The Storage
is 512 GB or 1 TB of SSD M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 standard. There is a dedicated
GeForce RTX 3060 Mobile with 6 GB of VRAM.
The ZenBook 14X Space Edition flaunts a
PMOLED outer screen with 3.5-inch with 256 x 64 pixels and 150 nits of
brightness. Moving around to the main screen, the device has an OLED screen of
14-inches with a 2.8K resolution, 16:10 aspect ratio, and 100% DCI-P3. Under
the hood, this one has an Intel Core i7 from the 12th Generation, 16 GB of
LPPDR5 RAM, and 512 GB of PCIe SSD Storage. The graphical tasks are ensured by
an onboard Intel Iris Xe. In terms of connectivity, the 14X Space Edition
brings Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, 1 x USB-A 3.2 Gen 2, 2 x USB C Thunderbolt 4, 1
x HDMI 2.0, 1 x micro SD reader, 1 x 3.5mm audio jack.
The Asus ZenBook Pro Duo 15 OLED and 14X
OLED Space Edition are already up for order. The prices are R$ 26.999,10 e R$
13.499,10 (US$ 2576,51). The Latin American country is a key market for ASUS in all
its segments. The upcoming ROG Phone 6 will likely land there as well. The
gaming phone may reach the country as one of the first Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 smartphones.
