The POCO M4 Pro 5G had recently been released in various markets including India. While the Pro model is available for purchase the base M4 5G has yet to be launched. But now, the handset has been spotted on various certification websites, revealing some of its specifications.
According to a MySmartPrice report, the
upcoming smartphone has surfaced in the database of FCC and even IMDA. In other
words, this also hints at an imminent launch as well. The Chinese brand is
expected to launch the device in a number of markets soon, with the FCC listing
revealing its model number 22041219G. Furthermore, the data also shows that the
POCO M4 5G will run on MIUI 13 out of the box, which is likely based on the
Android 11 OS.
The listing also revealed that the device
will arrive with support for three 5G bands. It even confirmed three of its
storage configurations as well. So, the POCO M4 5G will come with a 4GB RAM +
64GB internal storage option, a 4GB + 128GB variant, and a top end 6GB + 128GB
model as well. Apart from FCC, the device was also spotted on the IMDA
certification website as well. Unfortunately, this listing does not reveal any
additional information but does hint at its near launch.
As per our previous report, the base M4 5G
is likely a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 11E 5G, which was launched
earlier this year. It is a budget 5G enabled handset that houses a MediaTek
Dimensity 700 SoC and sports a 6.58 inch FHD+ IPS LCD display that offers 90Hz
refresh rate. On the rear, it features a 50 megapixel dual camera setup and is
powered by a large 5,000mAh battery pack that supports 18W fast charging.
