Huawei Philippines today confirmed to team GIZGUIDE that the company will soon introduce two new devices in the country this May. It includes a "PC-like" tablet and a Smart Portable Bluetooth Speaker. According to the company, the new tablet will be powered by its self-developed HarmonyOS and is compatible with the second-generation HUAWEI M-Pencil stylus. It also supports a wide range of notetaking apps such as Jnotes, touchnotes, and WPS designed to deliver better productivity and educational experiences.
The company also shared that this tablet
will come with a 2K screen with a quad-channel, quad-speaker sound system tuned
by Harman Kardon for a "cinema-grade" multimedia experience on the
go. This could be the new MatePad 10.4 2022 released in other parts of the
world recently.
Apart from the tablet, Huawei will also
release a portable Bluetooth speaker co-engineered with audio powerhouse
Devialet. It is said to be the first ever portable Bluetooth speaker to offer
the Devialet 2-way speaker system and
Devialet SAM technology to ensure excellent audio quality for "any"
audio type. It also has an 8,800mAh battery that promises up to 26 hours of
playback.
Our guess is it could be the Huawei Sound
Joy that was released globally recently. Huawei has yet to reveal the exact
date and time of its release. The price will likely be revealed during the
launch.
