Xiaomi's Redmi unveiled the Redmi Smart
Band Pro and Redmi Watch 2 Lite last October. The Redmi Smart Band Pro was
launched in India last month, and today the company announced it will introduce
the Redmi Watch 2 Lite in the Asian country
- on March 9.
The Redmi Watch 2 Lite will come with an
in-built GPS, allowing you to track your workout routes without requiring a
smartphone. Besides, the event page on Xiaomi India's official website reveals
the Watch 2 Lite will be offered in Ivory and Black colors. There's also a Blue
color version, but since it's not included in the promo, Indian customers may
only get two color options to choose from.
The Redmi Watch 2 Lite sports a 1.55"
color TFT screen of 360x320-pixel resolution with support for 100+ watch faces.
The smartwatch has 5ATM water resistance and packs a 262 mAh battery,
advertised to last up to five days under heavy usage mode and 10 days under
typical usage mode.
The wearable is compatible with Android
and iOS devices and comes with heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking, and blood
oxygen saturation level measurement. The rest of the health and fitness
features include step counter, stress monitoring, and over 100 workout modes.
The Redmi Watch 2 Lite also comes with
notification alerts, phone finder, and music control. We'll find out more about
its pricing and availability in India at the event next Wednesday, where Redmi
will also introduce two smartphones in the country - Redmi Note 11 Pro and
Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G.
