The Realme Pad Mini has just surfaced on an online certification website. The upcoming Android tablet was recently spotted on FCC, which revealed its battery capacity and fast charging rate. As the name suggests, the upcoming tablet from the Chinese smartphone maker is likely a cutdown version of the Realme Pad that was launched in India, China, and certain other markets back in 2021. Previously, we had covered leaked specifications of this model, along with its rumored launch timeline. But now, the Pad Mini has surfaced on the FCC certification database (Via MySmartPrice), which confirmed some of its specifications and hints at an imminent launch as well.
The upcoming tablet was spotted on FCC
with the model number RMP2105. Furthermore, the listing revealed that the
device will be powered by a large 6,400mAh battery pack that supports 18W fast
charging. This fast charging rate was also previously confirmed by the TÜV
Rheinland database. For those unaware, the Realme Pad launched with a 7,100mAh
battery, which also supported 18W fast charging. Apart from the battery, the
FCC listing also shows that it supports LTE connectivity and dual band WiFi as
swell.
The image on FCC also revealed that the
device has curved edges and its rear camera cutout. As per previous reports,
the Realme Pad Mini is expected to sport an 8.7 inch display that could either
be a TFT or IPS LCD panel. Under the hood, a Unisoc T616 chipset is rumored to
run the device, paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The rear
is believed to house an 8 megapixel camera, while the front may have a 5
megapixel selfie shooter. It is expected to boot Android 11 out of the box and will
likely launch with a lower price tag as well.
