Garmin has launched their latest Instinct 2 series of smartwatches in India, consisting of 6 models. They are rugged, GPS-enabled smartwatches with features such as solar technology with unlimited battery life in select models, fitness features such as VO2 Max and Sleep Score, trackback routing and more.
The Instinct 2 series comes in two sizes –
the regular Instinct 2 with a 45mm bezel and the Instinct 2S with a 40mm bezel.
They all support a wide variety of health stats monitoring such as blood
oxygen, calories burned, stress tracking, heart rate, respiration rate, sleep
score and women’s health tracking.
Regarding activity tracking, the Instinct
2 series offers features such as VO2 Max, Fitness Age, Training
Status/Load/Effect, Recovery Time, HIIT, and Daily Suggested Workout. It also
features 30 sports apps such as skiing, swimming, running, biking, etc., and it
is rated for 10ATM water resistance.
Coming to battery life, the Instinct 2
will last up to 28 days in smartwatch mode, up to 65 days in battery saver mode
and up to 30 hours with continuous GPS. The solar models of the Instinct 2 can
last for an unlimited amount of time in smartwatch mode and up to 48 hours with
continuous GPS mode. The Instinct 2S will last up to 21 days in smartwatch
mode, 50 days in battery saver mode and up to 22 hours with continuous GPS. The
solar models of the Instinct 2S can last for an 51 days in smartwatch mode and
up to 28 hours with continuous GPS mode.
The Instinct 2 will be available for sale
from Monday, 14th March’22 onwards in India, across various online and offline
retail stores.
