Tecno launched its Pova 5G back in the last days of 2021 and now the Transsion brand is bringing the device to India. Pova 5G comes bearing the logo of Manchester City Football Club and its open sales are scheduled to begin on February 14 via Amazon. The phone is priced at INR 19,999 (US$ 267) and the first 1,500 customers will receive a complimentary power bank worth INR 1,999 (US$ 27). It comes in a single 8GB RAM and 128GB storage trim in Aether Black.
In terms of specs Pova 5G brings a 6.9-inch
LCD with a 120Hz refresh rate, FHD+ resolution and punch hole cutout for its
16MP selfie cam. The back houses a 50MP main cam alongside a 2MP and QVGA
auxiliary modules.
MediaTek’s Dimensity 900 sits at the helm
aided by 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The software front is covered by HiOS 8
based on Android 11. Pova 5G boasts a 6,000 mAh battery with 18W charging.
