So far, leaks have revealed that the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition will measure 162 x 76.8 x 8.45mm and weigh 210 grams. It houses a 6.67-inch display, which appears to be an OLED curved edge panel that supports a Full HD+ resolution. The screen will have Gorilla Glass Victus protection.
For photography, it will feature a 16-megapixel front camera
and a 64-megapixel (main) + 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel triple camera unit. The
device will feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC with dual VC liquid cooling which
is a premium heat-dissipation system to help keep the temperatures down during
intensive gaming. It is also expected to feature a 4,700mAh battery with 120W
fast charging which can fill up the battery in just 17 minutes. Additionally,
the device will also come equipped with gaming shoulder trigger keys and a
side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Redmi has already announced that the K50 series will debut
in February 2022. And going by Lu Weibing’s recent Weibo post, we can expect
the launch to occur in the second or third week of February.
