The Poco M4 Pro 5G unveiled in November debuted today in India. It comes in Poco Yellow, Power Black, and Cool Blue colors and has three memory options - 4GB/64GB, 6GB/128GB, and 8GB/128GB, priced at INR 14,999 (US$ 200/€ 175), INR 16,999 (US$ 225/€ 200), and INR 18,999 (US$ 250/€ 220), respectively. You can buy one from Flipkart starting February 22, 2022.
The Poco M4 Pro 5G is built around a
6.6" FullHD+ 90Hz LCD, which is protected by Gorilla Glass 3 and has a
punch hole in the center for the 16MP selfie camera. Around the back, we have a
camera island that reminds us of the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra. However, it only
houses two cameras - a 50MP primary unit and an 8MP ultrawide unit.
The Poco M4 Pro 5G has the Dimensity 810
SoC at the helm and runs Android 11-based MIUI 12.5 out of the box. It supports
virtual RAM expansion up to 3GB, and you also have the option to expand the
storage up to 1TB using a microSD card. The rest of the Poco M4 Pro 5G's
highlights include a side-mounted fingerprint reader, 3.5mm headphone jack,
stereo speakers, USB-C, and a 5,000 mAh battery with 33W charging support,
advertised to go from flat to 100% in under an hour.
All this may sound familiar to you because
the Poco M4 Pro 5G is a version of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11T 5G launched in
India last November starting at INR 16,999 (US$ 225/€ 200).
