The Oppo Find X5 phones will be unveiled on February 24, which is in seven days, but the Find X5 and Find X5 Pro devices already appeared on TENAA with their specs sheet. The listing revealed once again the Find X5 Pro will get the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, while the non-Pro variant will miss on the latest Qualcomm greatness and will have to settle with another platform.
Rumors have been pointing to a Dimensity
9000 chip for the regular Find X5, but the 2.842 GHz listed CPU speed matches
the Snapdragon 888+ platform. This time the phones will be different in size,
unlike the predecessors Find X3 and Find X3 Pro. The Find X5 Pro will have a
slightly bigger screen - a 6.7” AMOLED with 1440p resolution. The battery
capacity is listed as 2440mAh, which is one of the two cells - the total is
4,880mAh nominal charge, which means a 5,000mAh typical battery capacity.
The Find X5 phones will have three cameras
on the back - two 50MP shooters and a 13MP, while the front-facing one will have
a 32MP sensor. The company already confirmed it will collaborate with
Hasselblad for the tuning of the snappers. The Swedish camera company is
already partnering with OnePlus, Oppo’s sister company with which they share
user interface, manufacturing and assembly lines, and distribution channels in
China.
