The upcoming Micromax IN 2 smartphone’s key specifications has been revealed ahead of the phone’s launch in India. Not too long ago, the Indian consumer electronics manufacturer unveiled an affordable smartphone in its home country. The Micromax IN Note 2 went official in India carrying a price tag of INR 15,000. Despite costing less, the phone came with an AMOLED display, a triple rear camera setup, and a slew of other sufficiently good features.

Note 2 smartphone, Micromax is reportedly prepping to launch another phone
dubbed Micromax IN 2 in India. Moreover, the handset will succeed the company’s
well-received IN 1 series. Last year, Micromax also launched the In 2b
smartphone, which later received a notable discount of INR 500 in India. It is
currently unclear when the company will launch the new handset. However, the
Micromax IN 2 smartphone’s specifications has already been revealed before
launch.
It is worth mentioning that Micromax is
still mum on the exact launch date of the IN 2 smartphone. Nevertheless, the
handset’s key specifications and features have popped up on the internet,
courtesy of a Twitter user. Taking to his Twitter account, tech enthusiast
Ishant Raj leaked the complete specs sheet of the upcoming Micromax IN 2. The
leaked specs suggest that the handset will come with a 6.5-inch display. Given
that it will be a budget offering, this could be an IPS LCD.
Furthermore, the display will reportedly
deliver a refresh rate of 90Hz. Aside from that, the screen will reportedly
offer a Full HD+ resolution..The rear panel will house three cameras including
a 48MP main camera. In addition to that, the rear-mounted camera setup will
comprise a couple of 2MP cameras, which is likely to include a macro lens.
Upfront, the phone will feature an 8MP shooter for capturing selfies and video
calling.
As expected, the phone’s rear panel uses
polycarbonate material. A robust 5000 mAh battery will reportedly power up the
handset. Also, the tipster claims that the battery will support 18W fast
charging. Under the hood, the phone could pack a MediaTek Helio G88 SoC, which
is available in the Infinix Hot 11S and Redmi 10 Prime smartphones. Details
about the phone’s memory configuration are still scarce. However, Micromax is
likely to launch at least a 4GB RAM+64GB storage variant.
Aside from that, the phone could come with
a microSD card to support memory expansion. Moreover, the phone is likely to
