Chinese phone maker itel has quietly launched the itel A27 entry-level phone in the Indian market. It is a compact phone that comes with a quad-core chipset and runs on the Android 11 Go Edition. The itel A27 is priced at Rs. 5,999 (US$ 80) for the lone 2GB RAM and 32GB storage variant. The device has three color options – Crystal Blue, Deep Gray, and Silver Purple. It is already available in the offline market in India.
The itel A27 comes with a 5.45-inch
display with an HD+ resolution. The phone has a 2MP selfie snapper and a 5MP
rear camera. The device can shoot HDR photos and comes with different modes. It
has beauty mode, portrait mode, short video option, AR filters, and stickers.
It is powered by an unknown quad-core
chipset clocked at 1.4GHz. It has 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The
company has provided a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 32GB. The
device runs on Android 11 Go Edition and has a rear-mounted fingerprint
scanner.
In related news, itel launched the itel A58
series last month in Nigeria. The series includes the itel A58 and A58 Pro both
offering an almost similar specs sheet. Both have a large 6.6-inch display
featuring an HD+ resolution. The phones come with a 50MP dual-camera system and
a single selfie shooter. There’s UNISOC SC7731E inside the phone and 1GB RAM in
the A58 and 2GB in the A58 Pro.
