Earlier this month, Honor had unveiled a new smartphone in the Honor 60 lineup, dubbed as Honor 60 SE 5G. Today, the budget device officially goes on sale in the Chinese market through several different channels. The 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage model is priced at 2,199 yuan (US $347) while the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage model costs 2,499 yuan (US$ 395). It is offered in three color options — Streamer Magic Mirror, Mo Yuqing, and Bright Black.
As for the specifications, the Honor 60 SE
features a 6.67-inch OLED hyperbolic screen with 2400 x 1080 pixels Full HD+
screen resolution along with support for a 120Hz refresh rate and 1920Hz
high-frequency PWM dimming. Under the hood, the device is powered by the
MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC, coupled with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal
storage. It also has support for a Smart Memory Engine that can use 2GB of
storage space as memory.
In the camera department, the Honor 60 SE
smartphone comes with a triple-camera setup on the back that includes a
64-megapixel primary sensor, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a
2-megapixel macro lens. On the front side, there’s a 16-megapixel snapper for
taking selfies and video calling. The device runs the Android 11 operating
system out-of-the-box with the company’s own Magic UI 5.0 on top. It is powered
by a 4,300mAh battery and comes with support for 66W Super Fast Chare
technology.
