Chuwi LarkBox X

Chuwi released their second AMD processor-powered Mini PC in early February and named it as LarkBox X. And the model continues with the compact size and design of the LarkBox series, measuring just about 5*5*2 inches. It can be connected to up to three 4K monitors and is equipped with a Gigabit network port, making it compact and space-saving for various scenarios.

Chuwi LarkBox X is equipped with a AMD Ryzen 7 3700U processor with a maximum boost frequency of 4.0GHz, Zen+ architecture, and 15W TDP. It is worth mentioning, that with the outstanding physical design and excellent thermal management, LarkBox X boosts the actual peak TDP of Ryzen 7 3700U to 25W, bringing stable and high-performance output for various applications. And it also integrates Radeon Vega 10 core graphics, which can smoothly run even current mainstream online games.

Based on first tests, the performance is about 27.78% better than Intel’s comparable processor, the Core i7-8550U. And it shines especially in PS photo editing, 3ds Max modeling, and Medical visual virtualization. LarkBox X is perfect option as a home media center, office PC, digital signage system, and light gaming and entertainment machine thanks to its all-in-one interface configuration.

The LarkBox X also features possible hardware upgrade slots with dual-channel memory support for DDR4 3200MHz SO-DIMM up to 32GB. Or  the PCIe  3.0 M.2 SSD upgrade interface for extra storage. But the best comes with its price, because it’s currently available on Amazon store for just US$ 399.
