Japanese tech giant, Sony, announced its latest BRAVIA XR TVs namely the X95K, MASTER Series A90K/A80K, and X90K models. These new BRAVIA XR TVs are all powered by the Cognitive Processor XR. They also feature the XR Backlight Master Drive that helps the latest Mini LED backlight of the TVs to optimize its brightness. It will also help in providing an amazing dynamic range with bright whites and deep blacks.
The TVs also have Acoustic Surface Audio+
for OLED models and Acoustic Multi-Audio for LED models. This enhances the
overall viewing experience and immersion with precise spatial audio. Netflix
viewing is also improved the Netflix Adaptive Calibrated Mode. In addition,
Sony's new BRAVIA CORE Calibrated Mode adjusts the image quality on-screen to
better match the video creator's original vision. All BRAVIA XR televisions
released after 2022 will also be labeled as "Perfect for PlayStation
5," with two PS5-exclusive features: Auto HDR Tone Mapping and Auto Genre
Picture Mode.
This year, Sony also unveiled the BRAVIA
CAM, a newly designed unique camera gadget that detects where users are sitting
and adjusts the picture and sound accordingly. It features gesture controls,
video chat, and a slew of other exciting new features just waiting to be
discovered.
There is a risk of increased resource and
energy use as demand for even larger TV screens grows. Sony, on the other hand,
is committed to sustainability from the beginning of the development process to
the end of the viewing experience. Sony's global environmental plan, "Road
to Zero," aspires to create a sustainable society by 2050 by achieving a
zero environmental footprint across the life cycle of its products and business
activities.
With these goals in mind, our 2022 TVs
feature a high recycled plastic content, thanks to Sony's SORPLASTM technology,
which has increased our use of recycled material without sacrificing design or
durability while reducing overall virgin plastic use by up to 60%, equating to
approximately 140,000,000 CDs. Furthermore, Sony's BRAVIA CAM can detect when
viewers are no longer in front of the TV and automatically dim the display to
save energy. Other features of the new BRAVIA XR TVs include Ambient
Optimization Pro, Google TV integration, and a new premium remote designed to
simplify usage while providing new features such as backlit buttons.
Price and availability for the new Sony
BRAVIA XR TVs are yet to be announced. We will update you as soon as we get
