Samsung Car Charger

When you are in a pinch and you don’t have a power bank with you, a car charger is your second best bet to juice your phone back up and running. In conjunction with the Samsung Galaxy S22 series launch event, popular leakster, Roland Quandt from Winfuture, reveals that Samsung will be launching a new car charger, model name EP-L4020, as well alongside the Galaxy S22 series.

In the Twitter post, Roland Quandt shares 2 photos of the design of the new Samsung EP-L4020 car charger. From the ports selection, we have one USB C port that supports 25W Samsung’s super-fast charging and one USB A port that supports 15W Samsung’s fast charging.

Colour options wise, Roland Quandt only shared the black option, so we can only confirm the car charger comes in black. Other details such as whether cables are included in the box or sold separately are also not mentioned in the tweet, therefore excited users will have to wait for it to launch alongside the Samsung Galaxy S22 series. Speaking of the Samsung Galaxy S22 series, the flagship lineup will be announced soon in February as revealed by several insiders, and globally, it is expected to ship with the Exynos 2200 SOC in which it is planning to announce on January 11, 2022.

For reference, the Exynos 2200 SOC is the successor to last year’s Exynos 2100 SOC which powered the Samsung Galaxy S21, S21 Plus and S21 Ultra flagships last year. This year, Samsung is planning to bring heat into the competition by equipping the Exynos 2200 with AMD’s RDNA2 GPU for industry-leading graphics performance.

To be more detailed, the Exynos 2200 will be an octa-core chipset with one Cortex-X2 CPU core, three Cortex-A710 CPU cores, and four Cortex-A510 CPU cores. It is also expected to have an improved 5G modem, better image signal processing, and enhanced AI processing compared to last year.
