Xiaomi launched its Redmi Note 11 series in China a few months ago. However, the global market is yet to see any of these models. According to the speculations, the Redmi Note 11 series will be quite different in global markets. In fact, we already have a big proof of this, the Redmi Note 11 4G. This variant does not exist in China and is coming soon for global markets in India. Xiaomi is gearing up to reveal these smartphones for global markets on January 26th. As expected, the full specifications for the Redmi Note 11 4G have emerged a few days before the launch. Without any hesitation, let’s see what this particular smartphone has in tow.
The full specs sheet comes from the very
reliable tipster Yogesh Brar, and according to him, the Redmi Note 11 4G brings
the MediaTek Helio G96 SoC in tow. Some users will certainly be disappointed by
this fact. After all, the Helio G96 is basically a refreshed Helio G95 SoC with
just some tweaks to support high refresh rates and more-capable cameras.
Despite its aging 12 nm architecture, it’s still a decent SoC and for the
pricing point that Xiaomi is targeting, probably will make sense. The handset
brings a Mali-G57 GPU and will arrive in variants with 6 GB or 8 GB of LPDDR4X
RAM. In terms of storage, these variants will come with 64 GB and 128 GB
respectively.
The Redmi Note 11 4G flaunts a 6.6-inch
Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. As we can see, Xiaomi is
bringing AMOLED love even for the cheapest device in the series. It will bring
a centered punch-hole for the selfie snapper. The selfie camera is a 16 MP
sensor for selfies and video calls. The main camera setup will bring a primary
108 MP shooter. Besides the impressive camera, there will also be an 8 MP
snapper and a couple of 2 MP auxiliary sensors. The handset will run Android 11
with MUIU 13 running on top which may be disappointing for some users. However,
we expect Android 12 to reach the device in the coming months.
The handset will bring a massive 5,000 mAh
battery with 67 W fast charging. That’s where the handset shines, for a
mid-range smartphone, the Redmi Note 11 4G will have a very good battery size
and an equally good fast-charging technology.
