Jabra’s latest wireless earbuds are the Elite 4 Active which is coming on the heels of the Elite 3 which was recently launched. The Elite 4 Active is an improvement of the Elite 3 as it offers active noise cancellation (ANC) and a much improve sweat resistance than its predecessor. The IP57 water resistance rating is an improvement from the IP55 rating of the Jabra Elite 3.
The Elite 4 Active is already available in
the United Kingdom at £ 120 (US$ 161) although it is yet to be announced in several
other places including the United States. With a raft of recent true wireless
earbuds priced much lower than the Elite 4 Active, it is seen that the new
entrant into the earbuds market is high up in the segment.
The Jabra Elite 4 Active comes with 6mm
drivers, offers single bud functionality, and the Hear Through mode that will
amplify external sounds for a better listening experience. Only wired charging
is available with the Elite 4 Active. The device can give you seven hours of
listening on a full charge and normal use. However, the battery life is
extended to about 28 hours when the charging case is factored in. The Elite 4
Active will not be different from the Elite 3 in terms of the strong sound
quality and comfort offered by the device.
No further details on the global
availability of the Jabra Elite 4 Active have been revealed by the manufacturer
at this time.
