Last month, Huawei announced a more premium version of its Mate X2 foldable phone featuring leather material on its back. The device dubbed Collector’s Edition comes in black, white and red colors and Huawei has now opened sales for the limited edition foldable in China. The phones come with 12GB RAM and 512GB as standard and retail for CNY 19,699 which converts to US$ 3,090/€ 2,734.
Apart from the premium back finish, Huawei
is also using a nano-crystalline enforced glass material on the outer screen
which should be more durable. The rest of the specs are in line with the
regular Mate X2 – an 8-inch main OLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz
refresh rate, Kirin 9000 5G chipset at the helm and a quad-camera setup with a
50MP main cam. There’s a 4,500 mAh battery which can be topped up at 55W
charging speeds while HarmonyOS 2 covers the software department.
