Dell, a Texas-based computer company, has launched Dell XPS 13 Plus laptop at the ongoing CES 2022 event in Las Vegas. Designed to be minimalist and modern, the XPS 13 Plus comes in light (Platinum) and dark (Graphite) colors. The XPS 13 Plus comes with capacitive function keys that allow users to switch between media and function keys easily. Further, the traditional trackpad has been replaced by a glass touchpad that provides haptic responses to the touch.
The laptop has larger keycaps (also known
as zero-lattice) for comfortable typing. It is worth mentioning that the
keyboard does not have any spaces between the keys. The XPS 13 Plus sports a
13.4-inch FHD+ “InfinityEdge” display with 100 percent sRGB coverage and 500
nits of peak brightness. It is powered by Intel’s 12th Generation Core i7-1280P
processor.
The device also features two up-firing
speakers hidden underneath the keyboard, and down-firing speakers are on the
base. The Dell XPS 13 Plus is available worldwide Spring 2022, with Windows 11
or Ubuntu 20.04 on the Developer Edition. It starts at US$ 1199.
In other news, the company also launched
Dell UltraSharp 32 4K Video Conferencing Monitor featuring UltraSharp Webcam,
echo canceling dual-array microphones, and 14W speakers. The new monitor comes
with a Sony STARVIS CMOS sensor for light adjustments, AI auto framing
capability, integrated smart security features, and enhanced visual clarity,
claims the company.
Dell UltraSharp 32 4K Video Conferencing
Monitor (U3223QZ) wil be available worldwide on March 29.
