First, the Zephyrus Duo 16 continues the dual-screen laptops with its ScreenPad Plus secondary screen. This second panel rises to its optimal viewing angle using the new 4-directional hinge. The main display is a 16-inch ROG Nebula HDR mini-LED display with QHD resolution, 16:10 aspect ratio, a 165Hz, VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certification, and 100,000:1 contrast ratio.
There's another option though. The second
choice is the Dual Spec panel, a brand-new ROG-exclusive display co-developed
with BOE that can transition between 4K 120 Hz and Full HD 240 Hz for better
resolution versus framerate management. The Pixel Acceleration Technology makes
lighting-fast upscaling in FHD mode for retaining great visuals while
maximizing framerates.
Inside, it has the AMD Ryzen 6980HX and an
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti. It will require 150W of power with Dynamic Boost
for high-end horsepower. It will also be cooled by the improved Liquid Metal
Conductonaut Extreme. The raised secondary screen's AAS Plus 2.0 air intake
produces 30% more airflow above the fans to keep these high-end components
cool, and a MUX Switch guarantees that users get every frame possible in
competitive settings.
The ROG Zephyrus G14 is one of the first
ROG laptops to feature the company's new Nebula Display as well. This 14-inch
screen will feature QHD resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and a 500 nits peak
brightness. In addition, it also has a 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut, a 3ms
response time, Dolby Vision, Adaptive Sync, and Pantone validation.
Inside, it will feature an AMD Ryzen 9
6000 series processor, AMD Radeon RX 6000S series GPU with a MUX Switch for the
best possible performance. It also has DDR5 RAM and a 1TB SSD. It also features
ROG Intelligent Cooling with Liquid Metal and a custom vapor chamber for
thermal management.
For other features, it will also have
Windows 11, Dolby Atmos, a 3D mic array with two-way AI noise-canceling, and a
fast WiFi 6E connectivity. The ROG Zephyrus G14 comes in Eclipse Gray and
Moonlight White.
