The ROG Strix SCAR comes in 15-inch and 17-inch sizes, with the 15-inch providing three different IPS display options namely QHD 240Hz, FHD 300Hz, and QHD165 Hz. QHD 240Hz or FHD 360Hz is available on the 17-inch SCAR. All Strix SCAR models will include Dolby Vision HDR as well as Adaptive-Sync for good picture quality with no tearing or stuttering. It also has a 3ms response time as well.
Inside, it has up to a 12th Gen Intel Core
i9-12900H processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti laptop GPU running at 150
W with Dynamic Boost. A MUX Switch ensures top-tier GPU performance, while PCIe
Gen 4x4 storage speeds up load times, and DDR5 4800 MHz RAM provides ample
memory for multitasking. It also has ROG Intelligent Cooling and Liquid Metal
for thermal management.
There's the Strix G15 and G17 too. Both
are powered by an AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti
GPU. The ROG Strix G15 offers FHD 300Hz and QHD 165Hz variants while the G17
offers FHD 360Hz and QHD 240Hz screens. All models will have Dolby Vision, 3ms
response times, Adaptive Sync. No word about availability or pricing was shared
