Chinese mobile maker vivo recently confirmed that the Y76 5G will go official in the Philippines on December 4. First announced in China late in November, the vivo Y76 5G is a mid-ranger boasting a beautiful 3D curved back design in Midnight Space and Cosmic Aurora colorways and a 6.58-inch LCD panel with 1080p+ resolution with a notch housing the 16MP f/2.0 selfie camera.
Under the hood, the device is powered by
the 2.0GHz 7nm MediaTek Dimensity 700 octa-core processor with Mali-G57 MC2
(950MHz), 8GB RAM + 4GB Extended RAM, 128GB expandable storage, and a 4,100mAh
battery capacity with USB-C 44W Fast Charge.
vivo is claiming that its Extended RAM
tech will allow its users to support up to 25 apps running in the background
with no lag. For charging, the 44W Fast Charge solution can fill its battery
from 0 to 70 percent in just 32 minutes. The company is also calling this
device a "Vlog Phone" thanks
to its use of a 50MP main shooter, 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth camera.
But to be frank, it lacks the ultra-wide sensor that would have made it a
better vlogging device. There is no OIS for stabilization as well.
