Smart Communications, Inc. today launched its newest 5G-capable device in the country, the Smart Bro Home WiFi 5G. According to the company, this is the first-ever Prepaid Home WiFi powered by Smart 5G in the Philippines. Smart claims that it brings wireless "fiber-like" speeds to allow Filipino homes to enjoy fast internet speeds for work, school, play, entertainment, and more.
The Smart Bro Home WiFi 5G boasts a 5G NR
SA/NSA connectivity with 5G PLUS 2NR Carrier Aggregation to ensure more
reliable and faster speeds by utilizing 2 5G channels simultaneously. It also
has WiFi 6 2x2 MIMO with Easy Mesh that makes sharing easier for the whole
family, WPA3 WiFi Security, and can connect up to 10 WiFi-enabled devices such
as phones, tablets, and laptops, among others.
Smart Bro Home WiFi 5G also has 6x
External Antennas (9dBi High Gain Antennas), Gigabyte Ethernet Ports, The device is also boasting a printed sticker
cover featuring the artwork of award-winning illustrator Stephanie Bravo
Semilla on the device. Smart said that this artwork shows high-speed Smart 5G
connect families to their many passions from the comfort of their home.
The Prepaid Smart Bro Home WiFi 5G is
priced at PHP 15,995 with 20GB of open access data.
