At the OPPO Reno7 series launch event in China, the company also announced four other products. We have already covered three of those, namely OPPO Enco Free2i, OPPO Enco M32, and OPPO Watch Free NFC. Here in this post, let’s take a look at the fourth product called OPPO Smart TV R1 Enjoy Edition, which is an upgrade over the vanilla OPPO Smart TV R1 that was released in 2020.
The newly unveiled OPPO television
features a metal unibody design. It sports a 55-inch/65-inch DLED LCD panel
with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels (4K), 1.07 billion colors, 93% DCI-P3
color gamut, ΔE≈1.5 color accuracy, low blue light mode, and OCEE color
enhancement engine. The TV also supports popular HDR standards like HDR10,
HDR10+, and HLG. Additionally. The 65-inch also has a 60Hz refresh rate with
MEMC.
The television is powered by two different
quad-core MediaTek chipsets. The 55-inch model has a quad-core ARM Cortex-A53
CPU, while the 65-inch houses a quad-core ARM Cortex-A73 CPU. The GPU (ARM Mali
G52 MC1) and RAM (2GB) are identical on two variants but the storage is
different. The smaller model has a lower 16GB storage as compared to 32GB
storage on the bigger version. Anyway, both the variants run ColorOS TV
operating system with NFC-enabled voice remote control for OPPO Share and
Breeno virtual assistant. The duo has dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth, and far-field
microphones.
The common ports on the two size versions
include 2 x USB 2.0, 1 x DTMB, and 1 x LAN. Talking about uncommon ports, the
55-inch model sports 3 x HDMI 2.0, a coaxial digital audio port, and 1 x RCA.
On the other hand, the 65-inch version comes with 3 x HDMI 2.1 (one of them is
eARC compatible), an optical digital audio port, and a mini 3in1 AV. Lastly,
the main highlight of this television is its speakers. It has dual 15W speakers
with a maximum output of 30W. These speakers are co-tuned with Dynaudio and
they support Dolby Audio.
The OPPO Smart TV R1 Enjoy Edition will retail
at the following price tags in China.
- 55-inch – ¥ 3,999 (US$ 626)
- 65-inch – ¥ 4,999 (US$ 783)
The television go on sale for the
first time on November 30.
