Earlier today, BoAt unveiled the price, specifications, and features of its long-teased smartwatch, the BoAt Watch Mystiq. BoAt has put a price tag of Rs. 2,999 (US$ 40) on the Watch Mystiq making it quite affordable for the features it offers.
The Watch Mystiq features a 1.57-inch HD
display with a capacitive touchscreen. In addition to that, the smartwatch can
also be controlled by the crown button on the side to help navigate across the
UI. The watch supports multiple cloud-based skins and themes which can be
accessed through the companion application.
The Watch Mystiq is a fitness-focused
smartwatch and therefore contains a plethora of health and fitness-related
features like a real-time heart rate monitor, SpO2 sensor (blood-oxygen), sleep
monitoring, and stress monitor. Further, the watch supports 17 sports modes
including soccer, fast walk, aerobics, climbing, tennis, basketball, cycling,
dance, swimming, yoga, badminton, and sit-ups.
One of the coolest features present in
this smartwatch is the High-Intensity Interval Training or HIIT mode that acts
as an animated personal trainer, which step by step guides users through
exercises. Another addition to the feature list is the breathing mode, which
essentially lets the user know when to inhale and exhale during breathing
exercises or sports with the help of a timer. Some other features of this watch
include seven days battery backup on a single charge, notifications mirroring
from the phone, music and camera control, and sweat, splash, and dust
resistance.
The BoAt Watch Mystiq is scheduled to
launch on December 15, at 12 PM on Amazon India.
