The Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G aka Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE was launched last month and has been marketed as the slimmest phone of 2021, which it definitely is. But even the slimmest and lightest phone needs protection against drops and Xiaomi seems to be well aware of that. Hence, the partnership with Kittie Yiyi to supply a limited edition case.
The case appears to be made up of hard
transparent plastic rather than silicon and has a yellow or black lanyard
string at its bottom. This string can be tied to one’s wrist for an iron grip
on the phone. The case also has bumpers on its edges to protect against those
deadly corner drops that almost always end up in shattered screens.

Lanyard Phone Case can be availed for free with the purchase of the 8GB+128GB
and 8GB+256GB variants of the device in Malaysia. There is no indication of
this offer becoming available in other regions as of now. The Xiaomi 11 Lite NE
5G has a 6.55-inch AMOLED display that offers a Full HD+ resolution, a 20:9
aspect ratio, a 90Hz refresh rate, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, 402ppi pixel
density, up to 800nits brightness, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The display
also supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+.
On the front, you get a 20-megapixel
selfie camera. Its back panel has a squarish camera module that houses a
64-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 5-megapixel
telemacro snapper. The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 778G processor that
gets its juice from a 4,250mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging.
