The Tecno Camon 18 dials it back a bit with its 6.8” 1080p+ LCD running at 90Hz. It offers the same 550 nits of brightness. The phone is powered by the Helio G88 chipset, which uses two older Cortex-A75 CPU cores and a mid-range Mali-G52 MC2 GPU. This model has the same 128GB storage, but the RAM is a tight 4GB. Battery capacity remains at 5,000 mAh, though charging slows down to 18W (the charger is in the box).
The Camon 18 features a 48MP main camera like its sibling. However, joining it are only a 2MP macro camera and a 2 MP depth sensor. No tele, no ultrawide. On the front is a 16MP selfie camera with an LED flash. As with the other two, the fingerprint reader is mounted on the side.
The Tecno Camon 18 will be available in the same three colors: Iris Purple, Dusk Gray and Ceramic White. Again, launch details including pricing haven’t been unveiled yet.
