OPPO today launched the 4G version of the A55. It's a budget device boasting promising cameras at an affordable price point. First launched in India, the device highlights a curved back design with gradient finish in Starry Black and Rainbow Blue colorways and a rectangular triple-camera hump for its triple-camera configuration. In front, it uses a large 6.51-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution, 180Hz touch sampling rate, NEG T2X-1, 550 nits brightness, and a top-left punch-hole for the 16MP f/2.0 selfie camera.
Under the hood, it is packed with the
2.3GHz 12nm MediaTek Helio G35 octa-core processor with PowerVR GE8320
(680MHz), 4GB LPDDR4X, 64GB expandable storage, and a 5,000mAh battery capacity
with USB-C 18W fast charging support. Going to the highlight of the handset, it
is packed with a massive 50MP f/1.8 with PDAF focus and 4-in-1 pixel binning
tech to produce highly detailed 12.5MP images. It also has the Night Plus tech
allowing to shoot low light images in Cosmopolitan, Dazzle, and Astral filters.
