The Meizu 18X is one of three phones Meizu launched last month in China. The Snapdragon 870-powered phone has now gotten a special edition made in partnership with the Chinese retail giant, Jingdong. The Meizu 18X Jingdong PLUS Membership Gift Box comes in a special white box that not only contains the white version phone along with matching accessories but also includes a Jingdong PLUS annual membership card.
The package costs ¥ 3345 (US$ 523) but those
who pre-order can pick it up for ¥ 3099 (US$ 485). The configuration of the phone
in the box is the 12GB RAM + 256GB model which sells for ¥ 2999 (US$ 469) if you
are purchasing the regular version.
If you are not interested in picking up
this phone, Meizu is also offering discounts on its other products today as it
celebrates Meziu JD Brand Day. The new Meizu 18s series will be dsicounted by
up to ¥ 200 (US$ 31) while the Meizu 18 Pro (8+128GB) which is priced at ¥ 5499
(US$ 860) will be sold for ¥ 3799 (US$ 594). The Meizu 18X has a 6.67-inch OLED
display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a centered punch hole. It is powered by
the Snapdragon processor and is available in 8GB RAM and 12GB RAM versions.
There is a 64MP triple camera setup on the back, a 13MP front-facing camera, a
4300mAh battery, support for 30W fast charging, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.2. It
runs Android 11 with Flyme 9.2 on top.
