Alcatel 3X Plus

Alcatel has officially launched the Alcatel 3X Plus smartphone in Argentine. It is an entry-level offering that comes with a dew-drop notch display and a triple camera system. The Alcatel 3X Plus is priced at ARS 23,999 (US$ 243) for the sole 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. It comes in Dark Grey and Blue colour and is available for purchase via authorised distributors in the region.

The Alcatel 3X Plus comes with a 6.22-inch dew-drop notch display with an HD+ resolution. It is an IPS panel with a 19:9 aspect ratio and 2.5D curved glass. It has a 5MP camera at the front and boasts a triple camera array at the rear. The rear camera system has a 13MP main camera sensor, a 5MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP depth-sensing unit. Under the hood, it is powered by the UNISOC SC9863A chipset paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. It has a microSD card slot for additional storage.

It packs a 4,000mAh battery which can be charged via the USB port at the bottom. It is a dual-SIM handset with support for two Nano SIMs or a Nano-SIM + SD card. Unfortunately, it runs on the older Android 10 out of the box.

In related news, the company launched a budget phone called Alcatel 1L Pro 2021 in June. It featured a similar camera setup with a 13MP + 5MP + 2MP setup and an IPS LCD screen. The smartphone featured an unspecified octa-core SoC and boots on the Android 11 Go Edition.
