The HONOR V7 Pro high-end tablet has been confirmed to go official at the HONOR Magic3 series launch event on August 12. Ahead of that, the brand has been teasing the features of this device for the past few days. Now, thanks to a leaker, we know everything (except price) about this upcoming premium tablet from the former sub-brand of HUAWEI.
Prolific leakster Ishan Agarwal has partnered with MySmartPrice to share the entire specifications of the forthcoming HONOR V7 Pro. According to him, the tablet might be called HONOR Tab V7 Pro in global markets. However, we will continue to call it HONOR V7 Pro in this article since it’s known by this name in China. That’s not all, its predecessor is known as HONOR ViewPad 6 in the official international press release. Above all, there’s no official word regarding the availability of this product outside the brand’s home country.
That being said, as per Agarwal, the HONOR V7 Pro will sport an 11-inch LCD panel with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, 267 PPI, 120Hz refresh rate, and 16:10 aspect ratio. It will be powered by a MediaTek Kompanio 1300T SoC.
The device will be available in multiple storage configurations like 6GB + 64GB, 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 256GB. As for software, it will run Magic UI 5.0. But unfortunately, the tipster does not mention the underlying OS name. As per rumors, the new version of HONOR’s mobile operating system could be based on HarmonyOS, at least in China. Further, the product will feature a dual-camera setup on the back consisting of a 13MP primary sensor and a 2MP macro shooter. It will be backed by a 7,250mAh battery with support for 22.5W fast charging. The tablet will be available in LTE as well as WiFi-only variants. It will measure 252.1mmx163.6mmx7.2mm in dimensions and weigh 485g.
Last but not least, as per the official teasers, the HONOR V7 Pro tablet will feature a USB Type C port and will have support for both stylus as well as a floating keyboard accessory.
