Louis Vuitton Horizon Light Up Speaker


French Fashion house and Luxury goods company Louis Vuitton has just launched a UFO-shaped portable Bluetooth Speaker with LEDs! France-based Louis Vuitton Malletier, commonly known as Louis Vuitton or LV, is a world-renowned fashion house and luxury goods company known for its clothes and leather goods. In 2019, the company launched its USD 995 Horizon Wireless Earphones that instantly became popular.

Several years later in 2021, the brand has announced the new Louis Vuitton Horizon Light Up Speaker that is inspired by the company's spinning top-shaped Toupie handbag. The company says that the UFO-shaped speaker is made up of metal and noble leather adorned with the House's emblematic signatures. It measures 14cm in height, 18cm in diameter and weighs 1kg. It features LEDs that produce a colorful light show synchronized to the beat of the music playing.

Inside are the Qualcomm QCS 404 SoC, 3 microphones (for voice calls), 3-inch woofers and two 0.75-inch tweeters that produce sound in an omnidirectional when placed on its dock and produce sound unidirectionally when positioned side-ways on its rubber feet.  Other specs include a frequency range of 59Hz to 19kHz, a maximum loudness of 91 dB SPL at 1meter, and Two 30W amplifier power. It connects via Bluetooth 5.1, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n/ac and is compatible with Apple AirPlay, Qplay and is MFI®3 certified.

Exclusive features, functions and controls can be accessed thru the Louis Vuitton Connect app that is available thru the Apple AppStore and Google Play Store. The internal battery is rated for up to 15 hours of listening time and LV says that it takes 90 minutes to charge the phone completely.  Inside the package are the speakers, a universal adaptor with 6 plugs, two USB-C cables, a removable leather wrist strap and a travel pouch.
