The latest TWS earphones in Redmi’s lineup were announced in China today with the AirDots 3 Pro. While labeled as budget pair of earphones, the AirDots 3 Pro bring active noise cancellation, wireless charging and a low latency mode which are all features you’d normally have to pay a premium for.
AirDots 3 Pro pack 9mm drivers and 3
microphones for optimal voice pickup and noise cancellation. Redmi advertises
its ANC mode can decrease outside noises by 35dB. Pairing happens over
Bluetooth 5.2 which allows for simultaneous connection to two separate devices.
The AirDots 3 Pro pack 35mAh batteries
which should be good for 6 hours of playback on the earphones alone (3 hours if
you’re using ANC) while the charging case brings a 470mAh cell for a total 28
hours of usage. There's a USB-C port for charging but you can also use any
Qi-compatible charger for wire-free top-ups.
The Redmi AirDots 3 Pro comes in Ice crystal Ash and Obsidian Black colours
and is priced at 349 yuan (US$ 54). It will go on sale priced at 299 yuan (US$ 46) during the first sale on June
11.
