Honor and Huawei are two separate companies right now, however, these companies still have some ties. Obviously, it will take some time to completely sever the ties between these companies. Yesterday, there were reports on a new charger from Huawei that supports 135W fast charging. Today, another report shows that a Honor 135W charging adapter is on the Chinese 3C certification database. According to the 3C listing, this device uses the model number HN-200675CP0.
We can see that the charging head is similar to Huawei’s 135W charging head. The Huawei charger supports 135W fast-charging up to 20V*6.75A, as well as multiple solutions such as PD, DCP, QC2.0, QC4, FCP, SCP, etc. The Honor 135W charging adapter has the same parameters and highest power. Previous certifications show that the Honor 50 series will support up to 100W fast charging. Furthermore, there are expectations that Honor will unveil new laptops. This huge charging capacity may be for a new generation of laptops.
With the progress of high-power fast charging and the stagnation of energy storage technology, various industries are beginning to move towards faster charging rates. This is very common among Chinese smartphones and laptops. According to reports, Huawei has launched a new ultra-high-power charger with a power of up to 135W. It is specially developed for notebooks. It uses the mainstream USB-C interface, supports Huawei laptops and Huawei mobile phones. This charger will also be compatible with most notebooks in the market. However, the digital products that will use this charger are not on the shelf yet.
From the listing screenshots, the charger model is HW-200A00P00 and supports 135W fast-charging up to 20V*6.75A. In terms of appearance, it uses the mainstream flat design, white colour, split pin structure, and comes with integrated cables.
